Merrimack Valley Planning Commission & Merrimack Valley Transit Joint Anniversary Event
The Merrimack Valley Planning Commission (MVPC) and Merrimack Valley Transit (MeVa) are proud to announce a significant milestone in their history of service to the region. This year, MVPC celebrates 65 years of strategic planning and development services across the region. MeVa will be celebrating it’s 50th year of connecting communities and providing accessible transportation for Merrimack Valley residents. In partnership, these two pillars of the Merrimack Valley region will be hosting a joint anniversary celebration, marking decades of dedication to improving the quality of life in the area. The event will take place at the Merrimack Valley Golf Club in Methuen on October 17th, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. To register for the event, click on this link.
This joint celebration offers an opportunity to reflect on the partnerships and collaborations that have driven progress. MVPC and MeVa have worked hand-in-hand with local governments, businesses, and residents to meet evolving needs in areas like transportation, housing, economic development, and environmental preservation. More than just a celebration, this event is a tribute to the enduring commitment of both organizations to the people and businesses that have helped shape the Merrimack Valley into the vibrant region it is today.
