The ALERT grant is a competitive grant awarded to non profits that advances the training in use of hazmat suits for emergency officers. Awardees will be participating in ALERT activities such as transportation of flammable liquids based on the National Fire Protection Agency’s standards. Funds based on amount recovered from prior year grant awards.
