See all News

MVPC would like to give a warm welcome to our newest staff member, Tony Collins. Tony joins the Transportation program as a Transportation Planner where he will play an important role in supporting the major planning initiatives of the program.

As Transportation Planner, Tony is focused on planning initiatives and projects that hone in on the intersection of housing and mobility to create equitable transportation networks. Tony is also responsible for supporting and improving public outreach and engagement of the transportation program.

Prior to working at MVPC, Tony worked for the Town of Andover as Associate Planner where he was engaged in transportation projects, created new avenues for community involvement, and supported housing strategies. He is finishing up his Master of Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning degree at Tufts University, and he has received a master’s degree and Bachelor of Arts degree from Merrimack College. Tony is passionate about planning for people and projects that strengthen social capital.

When he isn’t planning, Tony enjoys hiking with his family, day trips into Boston on the commuter rail, and playing tennis.

Welcome, Tony! We look forward to the comprehensive perspective you’ll bring to our transportation planning work.
