Bike Month 2021: MVPC Bikes to Work, Could You?

See all News

MVPC continues its celebration of Bike Month 2021 with some staff commute photos. Environmental Program Manager Jen Hughes starts her commute at the Georgetown Park and Ride and travels Route 97 through Groveland over the Merrimack River and into Haverhill. Nate Robertson, Community and Economic Development Planner, a Haverhill resident, traverse a few downtown neighborhoods into the office. MVPC hopes others will look for safe bike routes to school or work where possible. Not only does it do positive things for your health and the environment, but it can also be nice to switch it up! If the commute is too far, maybe find a place to park a few miles out and bike the rest of the way.

For those interested in sharing their commute, MassBike is hosting a Bike Month 2021 challenge: May Bike Challenge: Bike to Work, School, or Before Your First Meeting. You can find more information here.
