The development of the next long-range transportation plan for the Merrimack Valley has begun!

The Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) examines the existing multimodal transportation network in the region, identifies problems that will require improvement, and outlines possible courses of action to facilitate improvements. The MTP identifies transportation projects and estimates available funding resources through the year 2050.

A draft version of the above document will be released for public review and comment next year. If you have any suggestions for projects/studies to be included in the MTP, please contact Anthony Komornick, MVPC Transportation Program Manager, at [email protected] or at (978) 374-0519 by December 1, 2022.

This Notice, prepared in accordance with the Merrimack Valley MPO’s Public Participation Plan, also satisfies the Merrimack Valley Regional Transit Authority’s public participation process for the development of its Program of Projects.
