Merrimack River Cleanup IFB
The Merrimack Valley Planning Commission (MVPC) on behalf of MVPC Member Municipalities (Andover, Haverhill, Lawrence, Methuen and Tyngsboro) is soliciting bids from firms to provide the following goods and services. The purchase of ten (10) containment booms, along with the necessary safety equipment to secure the devices in a manner that ensures the safety of the navigable waterway; and to provide services to monitor, collect and remove floatable solid waste from installed booms at selected locations along the Merrimack and to remove and store containment boons at season’s end.

Bids are due by 1:00 p.m., Friday, June 6, 2025, at which time they will be publicly opened and read.
Massachusetts Prevailing Wage Rates apply to this project. Questions concerning this bid must be submitted via email to: Macklen Wier, [email protected] before 2:00 pm, Monday, May 23, 2025.
The MVPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
Merrimack Valley Ferryboat Business Plan RFP
The MeVa Ferryboat Business Plan is a joint initiative between the Merrimack Valley Planning Commission (MVPC) to produce a business plan for an electric passenger ferry serving the Merrimack Valley. The respondent will develop a business plan which includes all components detailed in Section III BUSINESS PLAN COMPONENTS.
