The National Endowment for the Arts envisions a boost in arts and culture for communities that partake in their Our Town program. Residents can bring attention to problems within their communities through art, and in some cases can stimulate local economies. Art has an ability to connect people and communities and bring out the ability to problem solve and overcome challenges.
