MIMAP 3.0 Demo is Now Available

See all News

After months of hard work by the MVPC GIS team, the first publicly available demo of the third version of MIMAP has finally arrived. Featuring Groveland as our first community to make the transition, this demo is intended to give you a taste of how MIMAP looks, works, and feels on its new platform. Take it for a spin at the following URL: https://app.mvpc.org/mimap/groveland

Before we share our demo with the other communities in our region, we want to smooth out any last bumps. That’s where you come in—fresh eyes help us see what we’ve missed. Try out the app and let us know what you think by filling out this quick survey: http://survey.mvpc.org/mimap_2_survey

What Is MIMAP?

MIMAP is an application managed by our GIS team that allows your community to view the various kinds of data that we have for the region. We often hear that realtors and public works employees use the viewer to find information on properties and home ownership; those with sign-on information can also view more sensitive information, like water and sewer systems.

Thirteen of our fifteen communities work with us to employ an application for public use. Over the next month, we are hoping to migrate all of the old applications to the new platform to breathe some new life into our longest-running app!

We hope you take the time to check out the new program, and please do not hesitate to share your thoughts with our GIS team.
