The Merrimack Valley Planning Commission is excited to share that we will be facilitating the 2025 Merrimack River Water Quality Roundtable on Tuesday, April 29th from 9:00 am-11:30 am again this year!
Since 2021, the Merrimack Valley Planning Commission has collaborated with MassBays and other regional partners to convene for an annual Merrimack River Water Quality Roundtable conversation. This is a wonderful opportunity to share watershed-wide monitoring updates and discuss next steps and opportunities for collaboration with practitioners, educators, policy makers, municipal staff, and others.
A large component of our roundtable includes hearing from groups monitoring and working along the Merrimack River. These lightning talks are given by monitoring programs, scientists, academic researchers, state and federal employees, non-profit organizations, and others who are directly working along the river.
This year’s Roundtable will be held virtually over Zoom. Registration is free for attendees. To register for this year’s event, please sign up here! A final agenda will be shared out with attendees prior to the event.
For more information about the Roundtable, please reach out to Hanna Mogensen, MVPC’s Coastal Resource Coordinator at hmogensen@mvpc.org. To learn about MVPC’s involvement in other Merrimack River initiatives, please visit our Merrimack River Collaborative webpage.
