MVPC is thrilled to welcome Kelsie Belanger, our new GIS Analyst, and Kendall Traveis, our summer intern working with our Financial Director.
Meet Kelsie Belanger
Kelsie joins our GIS/IT team as a skilled GIS Analyst, specializing in map creation, data management, and geospatial analysis. She leverages her expertise to support both regional initiatives and MVPC projects. Kelsie also brings valuable technical abilities in web and desktop application development, with proficiency in Python programming and web-based languages.
Before joining MVPC, Kelsie earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in 2022. Her passion for environmental studies and fieldwork led her to pursue a master’s degree in Conservation Medicine from Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in 2023. During her studies, she focused on GIS-based analyses, particularly in the reintroduction of native species. Now, Kelsie applies her technical skills and scientific background to contribute to regional initiatives in her hometown region.
Outside of work, Kelsie resides in southern New Hampshire near Big Island Pond. She enjoys exploring for wild reptiles and amphibians, spending time with her cat or blue-tongued skink, and playing video games with friends.
Meet Kendall Traveis
Kendall supports our Finance Director in daily accounting and financial activities, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, billings, payroll, and grant and contract processing. A native of the Merrimack Valley, Kendall currently resides with her family in Boxford. She is pursuing a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting at the University of Vermont, where she is also a member of the Division I women’s lacrosse team.
As a rising senior, Kendall is eager to apply her classroom knowledge in a practical setting and contribute to MVPC’s dynamic work environment.
We’re excited to have Kelsie and Kendall join MVPC. They have already made significant contributions to our team, and we anticipate their continued impact on agency initiatives.
