On March 17, 2021, over 125 participants joined the Great Marsh Coalition virtually in the annual Great Marsh Symposium. Presenters from non-profit, governmental, and educational institutions provided the latest information on the Great Marsh restoration activities, research, monitoring, and more.
A mid-morning break highlighted works of art from the beautiful Great Marsh set to the music of Robert Honstein’s “The Great Marsh,” a four-movement piece played by the Music for Eden’s Edge string quartet.
Missed the symposium but have an interest in Great Marsh matters? Recordings of the presentations (and of the entire Symposium) can be found here. Check out MVPC’s Environment program for more information about the work MVPC conducts to restore, revitalize and protect this critical ecosystem.
Thank you to all who participated this year!
