Continuing our series on the unemployment rate, the July numbers for the Merrimack Valley have recently been released. In some welcome news unemployment is down in all fifteen of our communities.
The Massachusetts Unemployment rate dropped 1.4% and now sits at 16.1%, still nearly double the 8.3% it reached during the 2007 recession.
