February 2022 Amendments/Adjustments to MVMPO’s FFY 2022 UPWP
The Merrimack Valley MPO has released amendments/adjustments to its FFY 2022
Unified Planning Work Program for Public Review and Comment. These are described below:
MVPC staff is in the process of developing a new ‘Top 100’ Crash List for the Merrimack Valley region. As part of this process, staff has been seeking feedback from the Merrimack Valley Transportation Committee (MVTC). To better incorporate this input from the MVTC, MVPC staff has proposed adding $8,500 to Task 2.8 – Safety Monitoring System. The additional funding will also facilitate more staff participation in upcoming MassDOT Road Safety Audits that will take place in the region. As this increase is greater than 25% of the current budget for this task, an amendment to the region’s FFY 2022 UPWP Is required.
The funding for the proposed amendment described above will be provided by making minor reductions to other tasks contained in the FFY 2022 Unified Planning Work Program. These proposed funding changes are shown below. The proposed increase in funding for Task 2.8-Safety Monitoring System is also included:
