FFY2023-2027 TIP Amendment #3 – Summary April 26, 2023

This amendment proposes updates for two exis ng programmed projects.

The first update is for the Route 1 Roadway Reconstruc on project in Salisbury (Project ID #602202). This project proposes the reconstruc on of a 2.5 mile stretch of Lafayete Road from Route 1A (Beach Road) to the New Hampshire state border. The project scope includes pavement improvements following u lity work (to be completed by the town), including pedestrian and bicycle facili es, roundabouts at Toll Road and Route 286, and geometric realignment of the Forest Road intersec on.

The state has programmed $2,543,975 of FFY23 Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) funding to help support this project, which will be added to the previously programmed resources to advance the project (Figure 1). The state has also programmed $1,693,361 of Surface Transporta on Block Grant (STBG) funding for FFY24 (Figure 2).

Programmed funding for the North Andover Corridor Improvements on Route 114 between Waverly Road and Willow/Mill Street (Project ID #608095) has been zeroed out for FFY24. This is because the project will not be ready to advance in FFY2024 due to ongoing MEPA work.
